Frequently asked questions

How is the cost of a meeting calculated?

Add up the hourly pay of everyone in the room and multiply by the length in hours. Yearly salaries are turned into hourly pay by dividing by 2,080 hours (40 hours × 52 weeks).

Why add payroll taxes and benefits?

An employee costs more than their wage: payroll taxes, insurance and paid time off often add 20% to 40%. Turning on the extra cost gives a more realistic number.

How can I make meetings cheaper?

Invite only the people who need to decide, send an agenda, keep a time limit and share updates in writing when no discussion is needed.
