Frequently asked questions
Why does each certificate need a code?
The code lets you check it once at the register and mark it as used, so the same certificate cannot be redeemed twice. Keep a simple list of codes, amounts and dates.
Can gift certificates expire?
Under the federal CARD Act, gift certificates and cards sold to customers cannot expire sooner than 5 years from the date they were issued, and some states do not allow expiration at all. Promotional certificates given away for free can have shorter dates if they say so.
How do I print it?
Use the print button and choose actual size. One page holds two certificates with cut lines. You can also download a PNG to send by email or text.
