How is a commission with a quota calculated?
The base commission is total sales times the commission rate. The bonus is the sales above the quota times the bonus rate. Some plans pay the bonus only when the quota is reached, so check your plan.
Does this calculate taxes or payroll?
No. It shows the commission before withholdings and payroll taxes. Your payroll system applies those.
